Lanternen
Lanternen is an independent and self-governing voluntary association that was founded in 2013. Lanternen works actively to support and guide children and young people in creating their own success in life.
Lanternen also believes that a successful life is not only created through a focus on one's own personal development, but also requires a healthy and supportive community. Therefore, Lanternen offers continuous activities and events that aim to strengthen both individual development and a solidary community.
Lanternen also actively works to promote a sense of responsibility for our fellow human beings - regardless of cultural or religious affiliation. We therefore consider generous donations to be an indispensable element in creating success, and we therefore work systematically to implement voluntary social work in the local community as well as humanitarian projects in the wider world.
𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗺 in the association of the Lantern 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
The month of mourning is approaching, and the Lantern is preparing to remember, reflect, and gather in love for Imam al-Hussein (as).
This year, the Lantern has the great honor of being visited by Sayed Mustafa Al-Modarresi, who will guide the participants through 11 evenings of inspiring English speeches – focusing on faith, identity and the legacy of Karbala.
📆 Date & and time of event: Thursday 26 June to and including Sunday 6 July 2025
(the night of the 1st of Muharram up to and including the night of the 11th of Muharram) from 6 pm.
📍 Location: Lanternen, Kantatevej 26B, 2730 Herlev
The program is for both brothers and sisters.
