WHO ARE WE?

This is our story

Ashura as an event in all its aspects and angles is growing globally as well as locally. Mourning ceremonies and Ashura gatherings in their diversity and culture are growing and they are continued and preached in numerous methods and ways.

With a wealth of traditions and knowledge of the Karbala tragedy, the dream has been to create a social sphere and gathering point for the lovers of Hussain in Denmark and the Nordics.

The project started with 2 individuals and slowly grew into small and large projects, and later into a dedicated website and association that promotes Ashura and Imam Hussain, and the interest of spreading the message in Danish and English.

At the same time, voluntary roles are opening up and the need for more hands is growing, precisely to achieve the ultimate goal; to share Imam Hussain's love and values with everyone in Denmark and the Nordic countries.

Small changes make a big difference

The cooperation between the various Shia Muslim associations is growing in step with the annual coordination and information. The openness is increasing so that everyone can participate in the numerous Ashura events, where both the spiritual, cultural as well as the social needs are met for the benefit of the congregation.
