SON OF AN IMAM

Imam Hussain, who was the second son of Imam Ali, was chosen by God to bear witness to the messages of the Prophet Muhammad and raise the path of Islam as the third Imam after the blessed demise of his elder brother, Imam Hassan.

Hussain received a profound learning from the wisdom of his grandfather and from the Prophet Muhammad himself. This bank of knowledge was further enhanced through his parents, Imam Ali and Mrs. Fatima, who shared their knowledge and spiritual heritage with him. They not only conveyed the importance of faith but also established a foundation of truths and values that Hussain carries with him as part of his legacy and commitment.

FATHER OF AN IMAM

Imam Hussain, father of the fourth Imam, Ali, also known as Zain Al-abidin (Exemplar of the Worshipers) and Al-Sajjad, left behind a profound legacy. Imam Hussain was born the son of Imam Ali and Lady Fatima, and his descent from the Prophet Muhammad gave him a unique position in the history of Islam.

Imam Al-Sajjad was present during the Battle of Karbala, but due to his mobility disability, he was not allowed to take an active part. Nevertheless, he bore witness to preserving and continuing the legacy of his father.

Imam Ali "Zain al-'Abidin" played a crucial role along with his aunt, Mrs. Zainab, in spreading the message of Hussain's brutal martyrdom and struggle for justice. Their testimonies and descriptions of the events of Karbala have handed down the story of Imam Hussain's sacrifice and his struggle for principles such as truth, justice and freedom to future generations. Quotes such as "Death with dignity is better than life in humiliation" and "I prefer to die with honor than to live under oppression" reflect Imam Hussain's strong character and his uncompromising commitment to uphold truth and justice, regardless of the consequences.
