MTI was founded in 2007 in Valby, where there are classes and regular programs for Urdu speakers.

The Ashura program at Madina-Tul-Ilm is primarily for Urdu speakers with short Danish speech and takes place every night for 10 nights.

The program concludes with a Pakistani and Afghan meal.

At 18:30 - The program starts with Koran recitation and the Ashura peace greeting.

At 19:00 - Speech in Danish by Sheikh Ali Hassan.

At 19:15 - Speech in Urdu by Sayid Muriid Husnain Naqvi.

At 20:00 - Mourning poetry recitation in Urdu.

At 20:30 - Food distribution.

At 21:30 - Maghrib and Isha evening prayer.
