Ashura is a period of mourning and joy. The mourning of Imam Hussain's martyrdom and passing away, and the joy of reproducing the event in strengthened community. The children are a majority among the mourners and lovers of Ahlul Bait, and their understanding of Ashura is not least as important as that of the elders.

The Imam Ali Mosque invites you to an exciting and educational children's program on the occasion of Ashura, which will take place in the Imam Ali Mosque's conference room on 30/7 at 12 - 16.
The program is designed for children in the age group 0-14 years and offers a day full of fun, creativity and learning.
Admission: DKK 75 (Register via private message to receive a link to register, as there is a limited number of places)
Activities include:
- Creative activities: The children will have the opportunity to express their creative abilities through painting and other fun craft activities.
- Storytelling: A Sheikh will interactively and engagingly convey important and inspiring stories about Ashura and Imam Hussain to the children.
- Common prayer: We will gather for a special common prayer where we can reflect on important values such as justice and devotion.
The entrance price includes:
- A nice souvenir that reminds them of the significant event in the form of a badge.
- Face Painting: The children can decorate their faces with beautiful designs and express their love for Imam Hussain.
- Healthy and delicious snacks will be provided for the children.
- The children will have the opportunity to take their artwork home and proudly display it to their family.
There will also be an activity box available for those who wish to extend their experience (at an additional cost of DKK 120), which includes:
- Muharram Garland: A beautiful decoration that helps children understand the meaning of Muharram.
- 3-in-1 activities with stickers: Fun activities and stickers that engage children and strengthen their understanding of Ashura and Imam Hussain.
Everyone is encouraged to register quickly, as there are a limited number of places.
This is a unique opportunity for the children to learn about important values and historical events in a child-friendly and interactive way.
